Endorsements 2026

August 4, 2026: 12:22 a.m.:   I should have done this earlier, but life gets in the way. Water damage, farm work, dental appointments that turn into four days on the couch with ice packs and Tylenol; you get the idea. So today I will do the work to give you my recommendations for the Primary Election, and later I'll add the recommendations for the General Election. I'll get started.

Florida Governor:   I FULLY ENDORSE AND SUPPORT LT. GOVERNOR, JAY COLLINS, for Governor of Florida. I did research, including going to Grant Warrington's YouTube channel and watched several of his insightful videos. They proved that James Fishback IS NOT ELIGIBLE to run for Florida's governor because the LAW SAYS that HE HAS TO BE A FLORIDA RESIDENT FOR SEVEN YEARS PRIOR TO RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR. He lived in Washington D.C. for years and came back to Florida only in 2022, FOUR YEARS prior to filing to run. He's INELIGIBLE TO RUN, but a LEFTIST "judge" decided that he would stay on the ballot. As for Byron Daniels? No. You've already seen how horrible he is: marriage fraud (he didn't even live with his first wife; they married so she could get cheaper in-state tuition!), his drug dealer past, his voting to raise limits from $300 to $1,000 for theft before prosecuting. Think San Fran and the people walking out the doors unimpeded with hundreds of dollars in goods that increases how much you have to pay! Then there's Donalds' flip-flopping on the property tax cuts, data centers in Florida, and so much other crap that I could never vote for him. Then there's Paul Renner, who left the Florida House as Speaker and became "a Scholar in Residence of the James Madison Institute, a Senior Leadership Fellow of the Adam Smith Center at Florida International University (Spring 2025 Term) and a Senior Fellow of the Classical Institute of Flagler College", leaving the Florida House to flounder without his leadership. That's inconsiderate of the people of Florida and Gov. DeSantis does NOT endorse him and also thinks he's inconsiderate. Thus, I can't endorse him. These four men are the actual four people with a chance to win. Of the four, I FULLY ENDORSE (as does Gov. DeSantis) LT. GOVERNOR, JAY COLLINS.

Florida Attorney General:   I ENDORSE JAMES UTHMEIER because I think he's pretty darn good. He's doing a good job and let's keep it that way! I like a team (DeSantis, Collins, Uthmeier) that works well together and this one does. DeSantis is termed out so let's get Collins as our Governor and allow Uthmeier and Collins continue working together for Florida's future. Agree?

Florida Chief Financial Officer:   I ENDORSE BLAISE INGOGLIA because he has Gov. Ron DeSantis's endorsement and that means something to me. Great part of the team, too, so let's keep it going for (hopefully) Gov. Collins so that at least three of the four can be there working together for us.

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture:   Again, it's the great team that we want to keep together, right? Therefore, I ENDORSE WILTON SIMPSON so that our team can continue working together and making Florida a great place to live.

U.S. Senator:   I ENDORSE SEN. ASHLEY MOODY because I think she's done a good job. I believe she was a great Florida Attorney General until Gov. DeSantis pulled her to fill the Senate seat she now has and I like what she's doing.

U.S. House of Representatives D8:   I ENDORSE MIKE HARIDOPOLOS even though I think he's been in office long enough (since 2005) I think he's doing a pretty good job, so I will support him. No Republican is running against him (just a LEFTIST), so he's the only choice I can make in good consciense.

D1 County Commissioner:   I have looked at the candidates and, although many may choose Stel Bailey, I CANNOT. She is paid by an organization that is SUING PRESIDENT TRUMP in an "earth first" lawsuit. Nope. That's not a good candidate. She does have a $50 donation from our former Clerk of Courts (IF that's him; same name) so she has that going for her, but in my gut, I just don't trust her. It's one of those things. The others who seem viable are Pamela Avery and Micah Loyd, who both received local LEFTIES (Pamela) and (Micah) LEFTIES supporting you usually means that they give you money because they believe you'll vote in their favor. There is one other Republican candidate, Rick Heffelfinger but I can't endorse him, either, after looking at County Commission Meeting May 5, 2026 minutes. So, this is the first year I cannot endorse a single Republican candidate running for D1. I will leave it up to you to figure out which candidate is best in your mind. When you see that everyone is associated with the LEFTIES, putting the earth first, or suing the best president in history.

D2 County Commissioner:   Tyler Soirois is unopposed so he's already "elected".

D4 County Commisssioner:   I ENDORSE INCUMBENT, ROB FELTNER, because he voted against raising our property taxes above the set cap, and to prohibit tax incentives for data centers investigating whether to move to Brevard. At the same link, you can read that his opponent, Adamy Dyer, refused to endorse property tax relief. I can't endorse that.

School Board:   This is MY HUMBLE OPINION: Because I believe that teachers are part of the problem, not part of the solution, I try to NOT ENDORSE ANY TEACHERS for the School Board. Why? How many teachers in our public schools continue to push our children -- behind parental backs -- into "trendie trannies", calling them by "other pronouns" without ever notifying or asking the parents before doing so? They are part of the problem and being a part of the problem NEVER makes you part of the solution. They follow the NEA's orders and ignore what parents, taxpayers, or GOD wants, and they harm students, not help them. How many teacher/student sexual relations have we, unfortunately, read about, often with the teachers being unrepentant and without regret, sometimes actually proud? Our students are graduating without knowledge, going to college totally ignorant of how to learn, how to think, how to argue their point, or -- shockingly -- how to write in cursif! Teachers did this. In other states, there are high school students showing up at college without being able to actually READ. Teachers did that. A teacher on a school board, IMHO, is a mistake. Now, to my endorsements.

School Board, D1:   I ENDORSE INCUMBENT, MEGAN WRIGHT because of the interview here in which her results are highlighted and they are good results and I think she will be better for the children in Brevard County Schools.

School Board, D2:   This one is difficult because I don't see a clear candidate to endorse. However, I don't believe that electing someone who is a teacher to run the schools is ever a wise thing, and one candidate is not a teacher so I ENDORSE KELLY WENTWORTH.

School Board, D5:   ZERO. I endorse NONE of the candidates for D5. They are all teachers.

Florida Senator D8:   I don't like the choices. Because I can't chooose a demonRAT, but the Republican seems like a RINO, and I can't go Libertarian because they support killing babies... I can't endorse anyone. Good luck.

State Representative D30:   I ENDORSE CHASE TRAMONT because of his scores at Americans For Prosperity and he has an F score at Progress Florida and Florida Watch. I LOVE it when someone puts it to progressives. It's a good thing.

State Representative D33:   I ENDORSE MONIQUE MILLER again because of her scores with the previously mentioned organizations. She has an A with AFP , and an F with the LEFTIES.

State Representative D34:   I ENDORSE ROBERT BRACKETT because he has a Progress Florida and Florida Watch score of F. I LOVE that! Fail progressivism. At the same time, he has a score of Americans For Prosperity score of A. Good for US!
