Page Deux

Sept. 16, 2009 In order to make the front page a bit shorter, I have decided to make a "Page Deux" (Page Two). This is where the older links and postings I used to have on the front page will go. It's going to make the front page shorter, but it will still enable you to find the links and stories that you really want to share. I'll try to leave the current info on the front page, but everything that is older than a month will go here, and then it will go (when I get to it) to a page that has almost strictly the links with minimal comment by moi (some people will love that).

Jan. 31, 2010   6:00 p.m.   Someone is lying. The question is who? I have my guess, but which do you think is lying?

Jan. 31, 2010   So tell me something I didn't know.

Jan. 31, 2010   "Pro-choice" it's supposed to mean that you favor allowing someone to choose an abortion if they want one. Well, that's what they want you to think. The truth of the matter is, that for years it has meant that a woman must choose an abortion not may choose an abortion. The pro-aborts have so twisted their own terminology via their own actions, speeches and writings, that now "pro-choice" means "must choose". When that is the truth of the matter, their use of the term "pro-choice" is nothing but a lie. It's not "pro-choice" when they so vehemently attack a commercial encouraging someone to not abort their child, even under difficult circumstances. Their attack on the Tim Tebow ad is an attempt to shut down that message of love. If they were truly "pro-choice", they would allow a commercial encouraging life and love instead of railing against it and trying to stop its message. Life is a choice. Never forget that. For them to try to shut that message down proves that they are not pro-choice but rather, pro-abortion and pro-death.

Jan. 30, 2010   3:58 p.m.   More info on the story below: Pelosipig is using Air Force planes and personnel to shuttle her grown children and her grandchildren back and forth between D.C. and CA: at your expense! I think this needs to stop here and now! E-mail Pelosipig and tell her to stop that! You shouldn't have to pay for her children and grandchildren to fly anywhere! Her doing so is total nonsense and it's treating us as though we are the subjects and she the queen! I just sent her this e-mail:

http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2010/01/us-military-serving-as-chauffeurs.html

"I just saw the article linked above and I am tired of paying for your children, grandchildren and anyone else you deem worthy being flown anywhere for any reason at our expense! This is America and you are NOT THE QUEEN of America. We do not pay for your every whim. You are supposed to represent us, not take advantage of your position. You are betraying our trust and misusing government funds and military resources. I hope you get fired by the people because of your lack of ethics and your total dismissal of the ideas of right and wrong when it concerns yourself and taxpayer dollars! Knock it off, moron."
When I hit the "Send" button I had to laugh out loud because I saw this robo-response:
"Thank you!"

Jan. 30, 2010   The Republican Party has adopted a "Resolution" that says that anyone who wants funding from the RNC should be carefully screened and should

"wholeheartedly support the core principles and positions of the Republican Party as expressed in the Platform of the Republican Party adopted at the 2008 National Convention"

(NOTE: Read the whole resolution here: Resolution)
I think that as long as they stood by that resolution and actually made their candidates qualify via a hard look and background check, that would be fine. Do I expect it to actually happen? Nope. Never.

Jan. 30, 2010   Why is it always with the leftists that they are allowed to say anything -- no matter how outrageous -- to anyone, anywhere, at anytime and yet, those of us on the right are not allowed to open our mouths. Leftists are supposed to be "tolerant". Yeah. Right. And I'm twelve feet tall and the Queen of Congrao. They blasted Sarah Palin for supporting Tim Tebow and his ad. Of course, it offends them. Little babies still inside their mommies should have no one: absolutely no one to stand up for them and speak on their behalf. That's a horrible thing to do!

Jan. 30, 2010   obamination is full of it and people are starting to realize it. Hurray! It's about time they woke up.

Jan. 30, 2010   12:14 a.m.   "Nancy Pelosipig" -- that's what I call her. That's what you'll call her too, once you read some of these documents and find out that Pelosipig has been costing you over a million dollars a year for the past two years in taking a military jet to wherever she wants to go and going first class in buying booze at your expense. Look at the receipt on the first link. Do you buy booze? Do you drink booze? Do you know you're paying for your Senators' and Congresspeople's booze? Don't you just love how they cut back while you are living on rice and beans? Remember: you're paying for it. Including $101,429.14 for Pelosipig's in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol. Yeah. You should be really happy about that.

Jan. 30, 2010   Okay. I'm slightly amused; totally irritated; dumbfounded. What on earth does obamination have to do with college football playoffs? Answer: It should be nothing; but he has to micromanage everything in America and has to be all to all in all (everything: couldn't stop the "all" thing). Which is a true sign of a dictator. He should be told flat out to keep his grubby dictator hands off of the college playoffs because, trust me, he knows nothing about college football. He was too busy studying Marx to notice sports.

Jan. 30, 2010   Climategate Liars broke the law in telling their lies, but they'll get off without punishment. Of course. Their motives were pure! They did it to save us all! They were just trying to save the planet and us, too! They're not bad people! They were helping! Get over it. They were lying and benefiting from the lies. Everyone of the scientists who came out against their "Big Lie: Global Warming" was spat upon and fired, scorned, or worse. While the scientists who pushed and lied about global warming gathered grant monies from everywhere -- including your taxpayer dollars -- and they got the benefits from their lies and now they don't have to pay with jail time? How about "Fraud" ever heard of that? How about misappropriation of funds (if you received the money via a lie, that's misappropriation of funds)? How about at the very least making them repay the money -- every penny -- they received from governments around the world? No? They would never be able to get that kind of money? Too bad. If they hadn't lied, they never would have been able to receive that kind of money, either! Make them pay every government penny back! And if they don't pay it back, put them in jail and make them read this study in this story that tells more of the truth than anything they have said after "Hello."

Jan. 30, 2010   There are plenty of stories out there right now about what is happening during the GOP (or as I like to call it, "the EX-GOP") retreat. Do a search for them and you'll find enough to last you all day. What I want to know is: who paid for that retreat? Did every Congressperson pay their own way and stay at the hotel of his/her pocketbook? Or did you and I pay for them to fly/be driven to Baltimore and to stay at the five star hotel of taxpayer's expense? That's the part that matters to me. The rest of it -- their discussions and decisions, the talk they had with obamination (if you're the mouse, why invite the cat to the party?), the videos they made or the deals they made -- don't matter to me as much as I want to know how much that whole trip cost me. And, who bought the booze would be of interest as well. I think it's high time to make them pay for their own booze. There outta' be a law. Agree?

Jan. 30, 2010   I said it wouldn't be as bad as it looked and it isn't. Landrieu was trying to throw dirt and make things as bad as possible because it was she being caught out. Of course, I'm not saying O'Keefe was brilliant in his plan; it was half-cooked at best. But if he wanted to find out the truth he had to come up with something. At least he's trying: that's better than anyone can say for the main stream media and their kiss backside coverage of all things progressive/liberal.

Jan. 30, 2010   If you know anyone in Illinois, tell them to check out Adam Andrzejewski (R) for Governor, and Patrick Hughes (R) for Senator. Both good conservatives. I recently got confused after a late, late night of being unable to sleep and surfing the internet for political finds. I did find Adam (Go, Adam!) and in my sleep deprived state, I got the impression that he was running against Patrick Hughes. He was not. My apologies for any confusion I caused you. I shouldn't update my site when I haven't slept in over twenty hours.

Jan. 30, 2010   Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of peace. And I'm a size two.

Jan. 30, 2010   The CA Senate just approved single payer health care plan: and stamped on every Senator's forehead: "I'm STUPID!" The State is broke! How can they vote on a single payer health care plan when they don't even have enough money to pay the electric bill past April? That stamp will probably just grow in size as they keep applying it over and over and over again. When did the CA Senate take stupid pills? Moron Alert! Moron Alert!

Jan. 30, 2010   While others may disagree with me (Vince and Bud), I agree with Citizens United and their assessment of the SCOTUS ruling. I wonder how Vince and Bud like siding with obamination?

Jan. 30, 2010   Another good reason as to why I abhor unions. I think they're bad, bad, bad, bad, bad for America and for our families.

Jan. 30, 2010   Yeah. We should listen to the guy who chooses to live in caves like rats, plans to kill as many innocent "infidels" as possible by whatever means possible, and thinks that global warming is something we should worry about? We should listen to a nut job? I don't think so.

Jan. 30, 2010   ACORN needs to be disbanded, barred from reassembling and fined and maybe even jailed for all of the wrongs they have done. Now we have to get through the Illinois election and keep them from mucking with it. Wonderful. I just love it when our president is in bed with law-breakers.

Jan. 30, 2010   Love the idiocy demonstrated by the daughter of the Dem. Party Chair in Illinois. She said in a court brief that there is no guarantee to a secret ballot. In other words: You should not be allowed to vote without someone looking over your shoulder. You should be watched. You should be monitored as you vote. Don't you love progressives? They just reek with wanting to know your business and control you. Just what you need: the Nanny state looking over your shoulder.

Jan. 30, 2010   Women make more money than men? Pew study says so. After all, it doesn't surprise you if you stop and think about all of the things that women have done to get to the top. Now that they're there, I wonder what they will complain about next? They'll certainly not complain about the horrible effect their success has had on the family. That's not what it's about. It's about being fulfilled and contributing to society and feeling like a whole person. Hogwash. It's about the Beemer in the garage and the next big screen television. We have sacrificed our children and their futures at the altar of "Keeping up with the Joneses" or feel-goodism. Feeling "complete" or "fulfilled" cost more than it should have. After all, it wasn't until the "Women's Movement" of the 1960s that women started thinking it was bad to stay home and raise a family. Now we have no families, just pieces of what could be patched together to be called a family and our children run the streets looking for love and getting in trouble and doing things they shouldn't be because women couldn't stay home and find fulfillment and be complete watching their children grow up under their own tutelage. The world lost its soul in the sixties to parents who were afraid to say no to those pushing "Sex, Drugs and Rock-n-Roll, Baby!" and generation upon generation are now -- and will yet -- pay the price. Amazing to think what a spine would have saved us, yes?

Jan. 29, 2010   FLASH!   Brevard Democrats accuse Five Supreme Court Justices of TREASON! Sounds a little like running scared to me.

Jan. 29, 2010   *Early Morning Edition*   Your children's children's children's children have to thank the Dems. already for putting them in debt. Don't ya' just love those who think of others? They're just so sweet! But they're not sweet to those who worked to help 9/11 victims on that horrible, horrible day.

Jan. 29, 2010   I have discovered a candidate for Illinois Governor, in Adam Andrzejewski, and I must say, I'm totally sold on him. If you can help, here's how to do so. And, yes, I put my money where my mouth is. I gave a donation to his campaign. Go, Adam! Oh, yeah. I think this is what Brevard County needs to implement, too. (Paid Political Advertisement. Paid for and approved by Linda McKinney, Independent of any group or party, 6025 Keystone Ave. Port St. John, FL 32927.)

Jan. 29, 2010   LOL! I'm not alone in my assessment of obamination.

Jan. 29, 2010   Hehehehehe... obamination is going to do another Dem. a favor. Well, it's no favor to Dems. If he'd stay away that would be a better favor!

Jan. 29, 2010   The Cato Institute looks at obamination's "State of the Union" -- A.K.A. "I, I, I, I, I" speech. He mentions "I" ninety-six times in a seventy minute speech. Ego. Ego. Ego. "It's all about obamination." Sigh. Did you elect an ego, or a president? In this case, his ego should have been on the ballot: "Dem.: Ego Obama/Joe Biden". The Cato Institute tells the truth about what the Ego said in his speech. As always, the Ego's lips are moving, thus, he's ..... Let's say it together now.... "Lying."

Jan. 29, 2010   I can't imagine what Arnie had for lunch that made him say this, but it had to be bad. He's losing popularity about as quickly as obamination. Well, maybe not that fast, but he's close!

Jan. 29, 2010   Considering that obamination knows what works, why is he not doing it? Because he doesn't want America to work, to be successful. He wants America to fail and Americans to be poor, and he wants it now!

Jan. 29, 2010   This video is great; the story is good and the person who posted it, I endorse!

Jan. 29, 2010   It wasn't as bad as it first appeared; but it was stupid.

Jan. 29, 2010   Crist is a day late and quite a few dollars short. But, he's going to be getting the money from....where? That's what I want to know. Remember: It's not government money it's your money. The government doesn't have a dime without getting it from you. They do not produce a product to sell, nor a service to sell. All they sell is ideas; and most of those bad. So they cannot make any money (as in a profit, not as in printing) they have to get it all from you. So Crist's bright idea is $32.6 million of your money to go toward helping you find a job. Tell me how that circular logic (which is actually illogical) works again?

Jan. 29, 2010   One of my favorite courses in college was astronomy (no, not astrology: studying the alignment of the stars to influence what happens in your life. Astronomy.) I had a telescope and I used to stand in my front yard and look at the moon and stars for hours. When people walked by I would let them look, too. It was fascinating. Got an "A" in the class, too. If you can still see it with the clouds and all, Mars would be a good look tonight.

Jan. 29, 2010   I am no fan of Newt Gingrich. He disgraced himself by having another affair with another woman and it's just not something that I think a good man would do. Multiple affairs while married -- don't worry, he always leaves his current wife to marry the woman he's having a serious affair with -- is not a sign of good character. Thus, "Desperately seeking relevance" Gingrich's suggestion that we have another "Contract With America" does not impress nor appeal to me. After all, considering how well he does with contracts (i.e.: the marriage contract), I don't think I'd trust him to keep his end of the bargain.

Jan. 29, 2010   I'd vote for Sarah "Sarahcuda" Palin for president. In a heartbeat. Apparently, I'm not alone. Let's hope and pray she runs! After all, she's so good even obamination takes her lines!

Jan. 29, 2010   I've been wondering about this myself. After all, it's not what the Dems. promised would happen. "The Senate certainly shouldn't try to jam anything through until Scott Brown is seated," Obama said. I think they're jamming things through. His lips were moving, yes?

Jan. 29, 2010   Considering his very public attack on the U.S. Supreme Court during his SOTU, I think obamination should be disbarred. If, as an attorney, you can't respect the highest court of the land then you should at least consider handing in your credentials in protest. But, no. obamination does the unprecedented and he's okay with that. What does he have to do to get some people to understand he is morally reprehensible, a Socialist/Marxist/Communist, ego-driven moron whose only goal is to make America into his own image.

Jan. 29, 2010   Love the video on Amy Tidd's website homepage. It's been up there since she was defeated in 2008, but what's the problem with an old message? In it Tidd says that she's going to "get up every day and think about how I'm going to help you make your life a little better". Don't you just love that? She's going to "think about" it. She's going to spend so much time, energy and effort on your behalf that she's going to "think about" helping you. Not that you need her help -- or even her thoughts -- to make your life a little better. That's not really what people are supposed to do when they go to the state capital and serve there, or go to D.C. But that's okay. Tidd's going to "think about" helping you "make your life a little better". Now if I want someone in Tallahassee or D.C. helping me make my life a little better, I would want my life to be a lot better, not just a little. But, that's okay. For Tidd, you only deserve a little better. Just a smidge. Not much. A tiny bit. (Now you've done it! You're over the limit and you've fouled things up. Put half of that improvement back!)

Jan. 27, 2010   *Evening Edition*   The fact that obamination thinks it's a good thing to bring Gitmo terrorists to NYC and other American cities to try them as though they were American citizens (they are not and therefor do not have the same rights as American citizens), is absurdity itself. To see what it will look like read this Michelle Malkin article and just try not to shake your head in wonder. That's the way it's going to be folks, if we don't stop obamination from bringing murderers and terrorists to our soil to make a mockery of our legal system and to put the C.I.A. and George W. Bush on trial. For that is the true purpose of obamiination's actions: making sure that information is brought out via trial discovery to let the terrorists know our ways of finding them, to let the terrorists know how we deal with them while in Gitmo, to let the terrorists know our weaknesses. Bet the farm on it; all of that and more will be exposed by the idiot obamination during the "Git-mo'-info" trials. And if anything makes George W. Bush look bad, or makes the C.I.A. look bad, all the better for obamination. After all, he's not smart -- nor good -- enough to do it by himself. Can you think of a better example of hating America than bringing Gitmo detainees to American soil and giving them the free gift -- without going through the immigration process, without applying for citizenship -- the rights of a full-fledged American citizen? Can you think of a more "spit in their eye" move than obamination doing this to the families of the victims of 9/11?

Jan. 27, 2010   O'Keefe story not looking as bad as it was reported. Which is good. Because it looked really bad according to some of the reports. But, I told my hubby that he wasn't that stupid and it's probably something totally different than what it looks like now. May I still be proven right: yet again.

Jan. 27, 2010   Know anyone who lives in Chicago, or the State of Illinois? Tell them that Patrick Hughes is the best choice for the Senate. He's a conservative and he's much better than the other guy, Mark Kirk, who voted for Cap and Trade. Or, you can just send Hughes some money to help him win the Feb. 2nd election. And, yes, I know: Paid Political Advertisement. Paid for and approved by Linda McKinney, 6025 Keystone Ave. Port St. John, FL 32927, Independent of any group or party; Hughes has no knowledge of this, either. But send Hughes some money and get another voice against obamacare/health care reform. That would be a great thing!

Jan. 27, 2010   *Early Morning Edition*   What was he thinking? Or was he thinking? Did all that ACORN fame go to his head and push out his brain? I certainly hope the whole truth is better than how things look right now.

Jan. 27, 2010   Well, well, well. Amy Tidd has unlocked her website and gone immediately on the offensive. (Not as though she can help but being offensive...) Her first move: attack Ritch Workman. Well, lah-ti-dah. Tidd trying to show some spunk. If she wants to go that route, I suggest Workman throw the PSJ incorporation budget on the table and let Tidd explain that piece of idiocy. I'd love to see her sputter and spit as she tried to explain why she thought a city of over 22,000 people could be run on such a stipend: $3,925,735 in revenue (with $3,691,188 in expenses: "SURPLUS LEFT AFTER ALL BUDGETED ITEMS- $234,547" --- ooohhh!). Or why her budget did not include things like "Planning Consultant" even though Tidd herself said in a meeting that you had to hire one? Why would Tidd want to go down the "attack dog" route when she knows she's not tough enough, strong enough a candidate, nor popular enough to get away with it, or even handle the consequences? Considering that she left the room after being asked the same question three times because she refused to answer, and on the way out said, "I didn't come here to be attacked!", what makes her think that she can now handle the result of going on the attack herself? I think she overestimates her Democratic Night School for Politician Wannabes. She seems to think of herself as John Kerry in drag. Question: Did she serve in Viet Nam?

Jan. 27, 2010   Census boondoggle: anyone want to pay $340,000,000 for census ads? BTW, what happened to "Separation of Church and State"? Is it okay for them to break it whenever they want, but we cannot mention Christ at all? Hypocracy, anyone? (Little side note: Wasn't the reason for Christ's birth an immaculate conception, not the census?) Not to mention the whole shebang's really cool look: "The 2010 Census: Jesus Christ and a Trailer"! Class. Real class.

Jan. 27, 2010   "Ellie Light" is a man! And an obamination sycophant. So to put it into perspective, men who support obamination are now so ashamed and embarrassed about it that they use an alias and impersonate a woman and then deny being married to the woman whose name they used to impersonate a woman? That's very telling.

Jan. 27, 2010   Does it surprise anyone anymore when obamination fails at anything? Not I. In fact, it's so very predictable that it seems passe by now.

Jan. 27, 2010   Dems. have a new strategy: "birtherism". Kinda' like "We're desperate and don't want to admit that we'll try anything as long as it seems like (at the moment) it will get us five more people voting for us and our inglorious obamination!" without saying those words. With a list of questions to pit conservative supporters of Republican candidates against those candidates, the Dems. are running scared. So the Republicans decided two can play that game. Although I am no longer a Republican, I like their questions better.

Jan. 27, 2010   Someone who would know thinks that obamination's approach to terrorism is "Scary". Another surprise. Sigh. obamination's so full of it... I mean.

Jan. 27, 2010   obamination's friend gets a sweetheart real estate deal. Will somewhere along the line someone realize that taxpayer dollars were used in the mix? Would it surprise anyone?

Jan. 27, 2010   Brevard County Manager, Howard Tipton, is trying to bring one of his former colleaguesto Brevard to oversee our budget. I don't know that I agree with bringing all your old cronies into your office to work with you. It smacks of cronie-ism and it's just not a pleasant smell. Not that Mr. Alphonso Jefferson, Jr., smells. For all I know he smells very pleasant (he may use nice after shave or good soap). I just don't like the appearance of cronie-ism: it's kinda' like nepotism without the blood connection.

Jan. 27, 2010   Some anti-baby women are protesting football player, Tim Tebow, being in pro-life Super Bowl commercial. They're trying to pressure CBS into removing the commercial from the Super Bowl. I say Tebow has the right to free speech, as does the organization, Focus on the Family, who arranged the commercial, so if those whining women want to put a pro-abortion commercial together and try to get it on the Super Bowl, go ahead. But don't try to silence someone who happens to be on the other side and who gets the chance to tell their own story. That's just petty. Learn to deal with the fact that pro-lifers have First Amendment rights, too.

Jan. 26, 2010   *Evening Edition*   Now this has got to hurt. I wonder if "Little Barry" is crying in his Cheerios® yet?

Jan. 26, 2010   Sorry about the absence here, folks. I pulled a muscle in my back and I've been trying to nurse it back to health in time for my Feb. 6th cruise. I sat around over the weekend and did basically nothing; not even cooking or dishes (I have a wonderful husband who spoils me rotten). So I didn't sit at my computer and type in a chair that made that muscle act up and I missed a few days. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. (No, really, that's what happened.)

Jan. 26, 2010   A Princeton education gets you this kind of thinking? and a Harvard education gets you this kind of thinking. Even in Harvard, though, not everyone supports obamination.

Jan. 26, 2010   Pelosipig and her cohorts going to Copenhagen in Dec. cost American taxpayers over ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Yeah. They care about your budget and that you're cutting back. Just so long as they can still stay in five star hotels on YOUR dime. Isn't that special?

Jan. 26, 2010   If obamination is so smart, why does he need teleprompters to talk to elementary school kids? "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?" Apparently obamination realized before going that he wasn't. Thus, the teleprompters. So much for a Harvard education, huh?

Jan. 26, 2010   Want to feel all warm and fuzzy? This story should do it for you. Some will say, "Oh! obamination's keeping us safe!" Not so. Those measures were put in place before obamination took office and it's up to foreign countries to implement them (or in the case of Yemen, not to implement them). For some of those named people to have been stopped from boarding is a tribute to the other countries sticking with the protocols. We owe them a big thanks. To think that obamination's lame brain has done anything besides focus on his narcisistic self is to give him more credit than is due. Or, as he probably tells himself, "I'm so great, I did everything to keep those people off those planes in those foreign countries and I did it with the power of my brain! I didn't even have to be there to be able to keep those people off those planes. How good am I?" Ego is as ego does.

Jan. 26, 2010   Someone's playing the "I'll stand up for obamination even if no one else will" game. And it may be someone on the payroll, or someone else. It may be obamination's misses, for all anyone knows. But this person is standing up for obamination all over America -- and the world. Isn't that pitiful?

Jan. 26, 2010   Want to watch something a little weird that Britons probably paid megabucks for? The Chimp Cam is a strange experiment in which a "chimp proof" camera was given to a group of chimpanzees in the Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland to see how they "perceive the world and each other". Tell me something. If the chimps knew what it was that they were doing, wouldn't that tell us better how they "perceive the world and each other"? Yet, the article about this unequivocally states,

"The apes are unlikely to have actively tried to film any particular subject, or understand that by carrying Chimpcam around, they were making a film."
Sorry. I'm not impressed. I think that was a total waste of time and money.

Jan. 26, 2010   I wish John McCain would go crawl under a rock somewhere and act as though no one ever heard of him. I sure wish I had never heard of him; that he had never been elected Senator. Did I vote for him last election? No. I voted for Sarah Palin and got John McCain thrown in as the "Blue Light Special": "Vote for one, get one free!" He was on the same ticket, I couldn't prevent it being counted as a vote for him, but if 'twere possible, I would have voted exclusively for Palin. Absolutely.

Jan. 26, 2010   How many times have I said it? If his lips are moving, he's lying. Over and over and over again, I have said it. That goes for his "Czars" and staff as well.

Jan. 26, 2010   obamination thinks one "good" term better than two terms? I say let's make sure he only gets half of one term. Elect solid conservatives to the House and Senate this election cycle and get obamination impeached for not withholding his oath of office, "to uphold and defend the United States Constitution". That's an impeachable crime. Let's do that. Keep him to one-half really terribly bad term and that's enough for all of us.

Jan. 26, 2010   Hehehehehe... Glad someone on the other side has seen the writing on the wall. I'm shocked that anyone on that side has enough sense to do so.

Jan. 26, 2010   The Stimulus Plan was a crock of crud. Anyone who doesn't know it needs to wake up and smell the stinky, sludgy coffee. And if you're one of those people, try to pay attention, okay? Pay attention to things like your money going toward building the Minnesota Vikings a new field. I know it's difficult, but at least check this website out a few times a month. It's not so hard. It's just a bit of reading and self-education. Come on, you can do it! Wake up! Smell the coffee: or what passes for coffee. Get the "little grey cells" going. You do have them, don't you?

Jan. 26, 2010   Just as you should be allowed to give to whatever charity -- non-terrorist supporting -- you wish, congress should be allowed to put links on their own pages to whatever charities they desire as well. But that's not how obamination is doing it. He says, "send money to my Haiti relief effort at "mybarackobama..." Doesn't seem quite fair, does it? Shouldn't people trying to help the people of Haiti be able to give to whomever they desire and the congress be part of that? Nope. Only obamination is allowed to directly solicit for funds. I received an e-mail from his "Organizing for America" organization asking me to donate via his site. That's a definitive "No!"

Jan. 26, 2010   obamination is accused of being "charismatic" and "concerned with the little guy", and a few other touchy feely things that I don't believe for one nanosecond. The truth is, if obamination cared about anyone besides himself and his own plans, he'd care about the families of the 9/11 attacks and not have terrorists transported to NYC for trial. But he doesn't care. He has a plan and he's sticking to it come hades or high water, Democrat defeats and disasters. He is so egotistical that nothing else matters except him. All hail obamination! All hail the Ego in Chief! The cad.

Jan. 26, 2010   I hope the BOCC votes in favor of giving the tax abatement. We need the jobs.

Jan. 22, 2010   Bud Hedinger is a moron. I don't usually listen to his show because he puts me to sleep. I tried when his show first started in the afternoon years ago, but he always made me nod off. (No listening to him in the car.) Today I listened to him for a few minutes while I was waiting for Glenn Beck. Bud today had fifteen minutes to spare for callers and he told about the Supreme Court's ruling on campaign finance. Bud Hedinger actually said something along the lines of, I know it's the Constiution and freedom, (and here's the really stupid part), -- quote -- "but what about the bigger picture?" -- end quote. Say what?! What on earth is bigger than our Constitution and our rights and freedom?! Bud Hedinger, in my opinion, is a moron and should really stop and think about what he said. More surprising than that is that Vince Young says something similar! What is wrong with people who can't see that corporations are allowed to do so under the 1st Amendment and that they have the right to support the ideas and candidates that agree with them, and that without their right to do so being supported by the Supreme Court, then our rights are just as likely to be usurped some day as well. If they can take out the "Big Guys", then who is to protect us, the "little guys"? What is wrong with these two?

Jan. 21, 2010   Unions: I don't like them, don't trust them, disagree with them and think they're bad for America. I'm not alone.

Jan. 20, 2010   Socialism: an economic system based on state ownership of capital. That's according to Princeton University (notice the URL when you click on the definition) and I can't argue with them. So, according to Princeton University, obamination is a Socialist. Told ya' so.

Jan. 20, 2010   According to this guy, obamination and the Dems. are in big trouble. From his typing fingers to God's ears.

Jan. 20, 2010   "The sky is falling!" ....but a lot slo-w-e--r than it was if "global warming" and its deadlines are being delayed by the U.N. I think it's time for the world leaders to say, "Okay. We were mislead. We are no longer trying to push this crud onto the other countries. We give up." Will that happen? Not until more info comes out disproving global warming and proving even more lies by the people who were pushing it. Even though the "climate change" community is finally admitting they've made a few "booboos", they aren't saying it was all a fraud. The proof is out there. All we have to do is wait for someone to get the spine, or fed up enough, to expose it. The truth is, man has no impact on the earth's temperature and if we behave like semi-intelligent people and do not do radical things, then we can all live here for quite a few years longer (millions of years) and not have to worry one little bit. I believe that wholeheartedly.

Jan. 20, 2010   It's an upset! Kennedy's The People's Seat was filled by Scott Brown! He won! Thank you, Massachusetts!

Jan.20, 2010   Will Brown's victory stop, delay, or detour Dems. and their push and drive to make America into a Socialist nation? Some say yes, but knowing Dems. as I do, it will be a delay only long enough to figure out a way around the law, around public opinion and around every barrier. Once that is found, then it's "[darn] the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" Mark my words.

Jan. 20, 2010   Another example of the Socialization of America. And another reason Massachusetts people voted for Scott Brown!

Jan. 20, 2010   A year ago today, obamination, the emporor-in-chief, was sworn into office. My stomach turns thinking about America being run by an avowed hater of America; a Socialist par excellance. We had a good man in office, a strong man who did not kowtow to terrorists, someone who knew what to do to help the economy, instead of taking it over. We had a man of integrity and honor who took the ridicule and name calling and gave back dignity. George W. Bush handled America's first massive attack on our soil within the first year of his presidency and he handled it with grace, courage and compassion. And now, we have an arrogant, classless, Socialist, an idiot, a simpleton; someone who hates America as much as those terrorist who crashed the planes on 9/11/01. We have obamination. One year in, he had a shooting at Ft. Hood in which at least thirteen people died and obamination's reaction was questionable at best, and a pantibomber to deal with. It took him four days to respond to the pantibomber because he was in Hawaii, surfing. Oooohhh... That's important stuff. Three hundred people's lives -- on tenth that of Americans alone on 9/11 -- on the line and obamination couldn't stop surfing for four days for those three hundred people. Yeah. He gives a flip. If obamination was even one tenth the man George W. Bush was, he would have stopped surfing for ten minutes for those people. obamination, thy name is "Failure".

Jan. 20, 2010   Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of peace. And I'm Superman.

Jan. 20, 2010   Although it contains a little language, it's still funny and he has some good points. I don't often credit any Dems./Liberals with good points, but (surprisingly) Stewart has a few.

Jan. 20, 2010   Are you better off after a year of the obamination administration? Think you are? Looked at your base rate in your tax form yet? hahahahaha... Boy, were you wrong. Anyways, here's a good idea and a good way to make things better for you. Believe it or not, it works.

Jan. 20, 2010   The Heritage Foundation's Top Ten in the Economic Freedom Index. United States: Down 2.7 Thanks obamination and Dems.

Jan. 20, 2010   Why is the FLotUS asking mayors to keep your child thin? She needs to keep her hands off of your kids!

Jan. 20, 2010   Work for the space shuttle program? Want to know how many of you will lose your jobs? Remember, obamination stated that he would shut down the space program and use that money as a slush fund for education. Read the full report here. Did you vote for him?

Jan. 20, 2010   If you want to win, don't invite obamination to campaign for you, that's for sure. Ask Martha/Marcia Coakley. Read his numbers and you'll see more proof of his failures.

Jan. 19, 2010   According to some, Dems. are backing kinda' away from health care reform. I don't for a minute believe it. After all, if so many of them are willing to be "foisted on their own pitard" for it (i.e.: resign instead of being defeated in 2010/2012), why would they back away when they have nothing to lose? Don't be fooled by the headlines and writings that say it's out of the picture now. Remember, obamination already has his "health care panel" in place and they have power now. Even if a millimeter of this health care bill is pushed into being via being a hidden rider on another bill, they will be empowered to make health care reform whatever they wish it to be.

Jan. 19, 2010   Mature adult, Martha/Marcia Coakley, is already crying, "It's not my fault! You did it!" and pointing the finger of blame all over the place. Dems. can never stand up and take full responsibility, can they?

Jan. 19, 2010   If this is what actually happens, shouldn't the voters of MA ask, "Who decided since it wasn't us?" Many investigations should be made into this map and if it proves even close to accurate, there should be some heads rolling!

Jan. 19, 2010   Who couldn't have predicted the sleight of hand tactics used against Scott Brown by Democrats? Those of us paying attention knew this sort of thing was coming. Including this one:

"6) Hearing from readers that voters in Malden were asked to identify who they were going to vote for before they were allowed to vote."

Jan. 19, 2010   Let's face it. I've been saying it since six weeks into the rulership of obamination, but now it's time to actually get others to admit it: obamination has failed in his king's role. Absolute failure. (How many people are screaming at their computers right now?)

Jan. 19, 2010   Brevard County Tax Collector's Office employees will be represented this year on the Board of Directors by: STACEY DECKER, FAYE SMITH and TAMMY MiCHAUD. Wonder what the chances are of them negotiating the TCO out of the union? This same union, the CFPBA, has a letter on its website defending public employee pension plans that touts,

"Expenditures from those benefit payments supported $1.3 billion in federal, state and local tax revenue in the state of Florida... [my bolding]"
Yeah. That's the way to sell the program. Tell future employees that there are a lot of taxes associated with their pensions (it doesn't come from the tooth fairy) and that there are more coming:
"Public employees also pay taxes and most contribute a percentage of their earnings into the pension plan - unlike the private sector. They pay an additional 7.65 percent of earnings into Social Security and Medicare, benefits which they do not automatically receive. [my bolding]"
But wait! The good news is:
"The average pension benefit is $1,354 per month - $16,248 per year - hardly a lavish income."
Yeah. I wanna' do that to myself right now. Don't build up an IRA or save for myself; let the government do it for me and I'll be in the money later on. Sure. Right. Why not just shoot myself in the foot right before the race begins?

Jan. 19, 2010   My hat is off to the City of Cocoa. I like their style.

Jan. 19, 2010   How many reasons does there need to be to NOT watch James Cameron's "Avatar"?

Jan. 19, 2010   Someone once said, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." I think those who voted for the current baffoons in power, are going through the "fool me twice" phase of regret. Well, that's what this video made me think. Don't get me wrong: I like the way the video ends; but I never voted for these idiots in the first place, so I disagree with the beginning. Maybe the producer of this video did vote for them. More's the pity.

Jan. 19, 2010   Come on, Massachusetts, elect Scott Brown. (Paid Political Advertisement. Paid for an approved independent of any group or organization, by Linda McKinney, 6025 Keystone Ave. Port St. John, FL 32927: Scott Brown does not know about this.)

Jan. 19, 2010   Speaking of MA, it already has a public health care program. We could learn a few things about what not to do from that. First: Do NOT get a public health care program! And if Scott Brown wins, obamination and Reid will be playing hard ball to force health care reform through. Another good reason to vote for Scott Brown!

Jan. 19, 2010   Let me guess: she works for ACORN. (*slap paper*)

Jan. 19, 2010   I guess ABC has never heard of the right to Free Speech, or the right to exercise our religion as we see fit, or anything else in the U.S. Constitution. But that's part of the reality of the mainstream media: take God out of everything. Shock. Surprise.

Jan. 18, 2010   Leftist radio show host, Ed Schultz, "would cheat to keep these bast**** out". He's referring to Scott Brown and conservatives in general. Isn't that special? He has difficulty with reality and with sharing, does he not? He scores an "F" in the "Gets along well and plays nice with others" box. Of course, when it comes to Socialists in the now-Red House, so do I.

Jan. 18, 2010   I don't often want what the leftists say to be true, but in this particular instance, I really hope it is!

Jan. 18, 2010   GOOD! People are starting to fight back! It's about time.

Jan. 18, 2010   The Left is out of power for right now in Chile. How much do you want to bet there will be a coup soon? It wouldn't surprise me. The Left everywhere hate being out of power.

Jan. 18, 2010   The Left (Progressives) hate to have the truth told about them. They do things like this and then whine about the truth coming out. Another BooHooo Baby. Notice what Beck was commenting upon first? Even remember? That's the whole idea.

Jan. 18, 2010   There was a protest against AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio's actions in rounding up illegal immigrants. He was just enforcing the laws, and doing as he was legally allowed to do, and they protest that. It's not the legal immigrants that were being rounded up; just illegal immigrants. The problem with doing what is constitutional? Apparently, it's that it is constitutional. Not rounding up would be what? Wrong? Or bad? Or... Oh. I get it. That would mean fewer illegal votes for Democrats! That's why it's wrong to round up the illegal aliens/immigrants. Because it will take away from the Democrats. I knew there had to be something to benefit them somewhere to make them that willing to march three miles! No Democrat majority, no illegal alien benefits and no amnesty. That's the thing. They need to have Democrats in power to keep milking us -- legal, natural born American citizens who pay taxes and do things the right way -- for our hard earned taxpayer dollars. That's the benefit to them. Democrats in power = illegal aliens get more of your money. Now it all makes sense!

Jan. 17, 2010   Very interesting reading regarding an attempt to recall NJ US Senator Robert Menendez (Democrat). The Secretary of State there, Nina Mitchell Wells (Dem.), is saying it's unconstitutional, but the people voted to put it into their NJ State Constitution in 1995. (This is what Tea Parties are supposed to make happen, not just a cheering session for "feelings": ACTION! Hurray for the NJ Tea Party! Hurray! Now let's get Florida Tea Party up off of its butt and taking similar action!) As to Wells's assartion denial:

"It has been determined that the qualifications and election of a Member of the United States Senate is a matter of exclusive jurisdiction of federal authority and that neither the United States Constitution nor federal statute provide for a recall proceeding for a federally-elected official."
First, Determined by who? Second, there is no "federal authority" for elections as far as being able to block such an action. The Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution reserves any actions not delineated by the U.S. Constitution to the authority of the States and to the people. Third, it is the people of the state who elect U.S. Senators; not the whole country (which would make it a federal election: i.e. presidential elections). Her "determination" means nothing and is groundless and specious. She just doesn't want obamination to lose another vote in favor of his railroading socialism into America without our voting it in.

Jan. 15, 2010   Giggle of the day.

Jan. 15, 2010   Actor, Danny Glover, says the Haiti earthquake is due to the failures in Copenhagen. But let Pat Robertson say something about what "caused" the earthquake (besides the tectonic plates moving) and all hades breaks lose. Why does Glover get the free pass?

Jan. 15, 2010   Part Two of Coakley should be prosecuted. She really should be prosecuted herself for allowing a sex-offender's crime to go unpunished due to her actions for over two years. And for prosecuting three innocent people for similar crimes and keeping one of them -- without evidence -- in prison.

Jan. 15, 2010   I recently chided the Brevard Teachers' Union for not accepting an agreement to accept federal taxpayer dollars for Florida schools. My opinion has not changed on that subject: the reason they refused to sign the agreement was pure selfishness. The results of their refusal are purely conservative, though, so the unintended consequences of their refusal are great!

Jan. 15, 2010   I have been contemplating something for a while now and I think it's time to make the announcement. No, I'm not running for public office. I have decided that in March when I renew my site registration and all of that, I shall upgrade it to have more space and I shall do a "Photo Tribute" to our troops. If you have a loved one who has served or is serving, I want to say "Thank you!" If you wish to write a few words about them, who they are, where/when they have served/are serving, and send along a small picture of them (I can adjust it if needed), I will be able to put together a photo album of the service men and women of the Space Coast of Florida. I have a basic setup right now of how it will look, so take a look and see if it's something you'd be interested in participating in. If you like the idea and want to send in your loved one's info, please feel free to do so. I would be honored to post their pic and a few words about them. If your loved one has made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, I will put together a separate album for them and they will be our "Fallen Heroes" and I thank them and you.

Jan. 15, 2010   See Tidd cry and Rupe had the big announcement all over her campaign page but now it's all gone. Boohooohoooo... boohooohooo...booooohhoooo...

Jan. 15, 2010   They're almost to an agreement on the health care debacle. Knew they'd get there. Someone would cave for the right price. It wasn't all that dramatic; it was predictable. Dems always have a price, don't they? As do labor unions. Don't you love being sold out?

Jan. 15, 2010   Brevard RPOF former-leader, Jason Steele, wants the party to reimburse him for having to defend himself against a grievance filed against him and he wants the incoming leadership to lift the probationary period he's under. No. And No. That's what I think.

Jan. 15, 2010   It has been a while since I did anything on my forums pages, but you are more than welcome to comment on my forums pages on anything that you find here at Space Coast Conservative. Or, feel free to ask a question, start a new discussion, etc. I do monitor my forums carefully and screen all comments so remember to keep the words civil or you will be deleted. I don't mind debate, disagreement, etc., but if you start using foul language (even the little stars and certain stand-in words), I will delete your comment or at the very least your foul language. Consider it a "soap in the mouth" via internet. Space Coast Conservative Forums are open to your comments.

Jan. 15, 2010   Martha Coakley says that devout Catholics "probably shouldn't work in the emergency room". In this case, "devout Catholics" meaning anyone who does not want to perform or aid in performing an abortion in the emergency room. So if you don't believe that abortion is correct, but you're a trained ER Nurse, you should not work in your chosen field? According to Martha Coakley that's the way it is.

Jan. 15, 2010   One of the "Climategate" professors is receiving half a million US stimulus dollars from this administration. Way to go, obamination. The liar get the dough even though his "hockey stick" graph has been totally discredited he still gets your taxpayer dollars. Don't you wish you were that comfortable lying that you could get paid for it, too?

Jan. 15, 2010   I predicted it and I was right again.

Jan. 15, 2010   Lying to his fellow Democrats, obamination said that the things he is doing will help them get re-elected. Problem is, they're just stupid enough to believe it.

Jan. 15, 2010   The invisi-veep has closed door meeting on transparency. He doesn't want anyone to see him. Notice the coverage, though. They have to slam Bush in order to try to make the current administration look good. They try, but it's so lame.

Jan. 15, 2010   With obamination doing his thing to our freedoms, this is where America is headed. Net Neutrality, anyone?

Jan. 15, 2010   Does it surprise anyone that obamination ends his first year with most of his campaign promises unkept? And of course, everything else is to blame for obamination's ineffectiveness. So much for the buck stopping with obamination, huh? Nowadays, he doesn't worry about the buck or reporters' questions. He just goes about his merry business, not worrying about how bad things are for the rest of us. After all, we pay for everything he has and does and everywhere he goes (and he goes a lot). He doesn't care about how many homes are being foreclosed on, he just keeps spending taxpayer dollars and taxing you any which way he can. Don't ya' just love having a king?

Jan. 15, 2010   Now this could be a good thing. A very good thing. Or, with obamination-care coming, it could signal the end of your health care coverage.

Jan. 14, 2010   Laughing Out Loud! Newt Gingrich, still desperately seeking political relevance, puts his ego on display. Get a grip, Gingrich. You're a has-been!

Jan. 14, 2010   Is there nothing obamination, and his wife now, won't lie about? Maybe that's why people don't want obamination for a second term. That's a good thing!

Jan. 14, 2010   Even though the administration has supposedly backed down from net neutrality there are others pushing hard for it. Don't believe the administration has backed down, by the way. They may say so in public, but they're still pushing for it because it gives them control over even more than they already have. That's something they desperately want: control. And I do mean over everything. Your wallet, your paycheck, your internet (no alternative sources means more control), your savings, your future, your home, your car, your "carbon footprint", your sleep patterns if they could!

Jan. 14, 2010   obamination "wants to get back the money" that he forced big banks to accept and he wants to do that via taxing banks. He is blaming them as though they had a choice when they did not have a choice. Problem: the banks cannot stay in business and take that hit by themselves. They will have to pass that cost on to their customers: US. We will wind up paying more for our banking services and we will effectively be paying the tax. Another way obamination is taking more money away from you against your will. Is this the hope and change that you signed up for?

Jan. 14, 2010   ACORN in CA is supposedly splitting from ACORN and becoming ACCE but if you read the fine print, it's not a split at all. It's simply a name change to get them out of the fire and back into the frying pan.

Jan. 14, 2010   The SEIU is infamous for their thug tactics and smear campaigns and when they get finished with your business, a conservative candidate, or an opponent, all that's left is mush. Remember, the SEIU's leader, Andy Stern, visits obamination almost weekly. "You can tell the quality of a man by the character of his friends".

Jan. 14, 2010   "Global warming" is reported on by journalists who have their own agenda and they have their willing accomplices in the obamination administration: A.K.A. the EPA.

Jan. 14, 2010   Coakley's past comes back to haunt her. And rightly so! She should be prosecuted for dereliction of duty!

Jan. 14, 2010   There may be some of you who are wondering what to do to help the Haiti people after the earthquake. I suggest you contact these two organizations: Air Mobile for local; and Operation Blessing for international. They will both be helping and your money and donations will be welcome by both organizations. God bless you and God bless the people of Haiti.

Jan. 14, 2010   If this review is correct, I will go see the movie, "The Book of Eli". Maybe you should, too.

Jan. 14, 2010   In China, thanks to their abortion-on-government-force policy of one child, the ratio of male to female in a few years could top 130/100. Considering that the issue came about due to a "favorite child" of the NOW and progressives everywhere, abortion (under the guise of "women's rights"), I wonder if the NOW or any progressives (A.K.A. Communists) will start to reconsider their support of abortion on demand. Or if they'll just start supporting "abortion-on-government-demand" here? Some day they'll stand before God and have to answer His question: "Why did you help kill all those precious babies I gave people?" and He will expect an answer. If you support abortion, what will your answer be?

Jan. 14, 2010   The Hollywierdo, Oli Stone, is trying "to put Hitler into context" with his upcoming film. It should come as no surprise, then, that Stone likes dictator, Hugo Chavez, of Venezuela and they seem to share a wardrobe. Who wants to bet that their wardrobe similarities are "just coincidental"? Mmmhhmmm. Yeah. Right.

Jan. 14, 2010   After posting my experience with Ron Norris Ford on the internet, I contacted them via their company site and told them about the page I had written about my visit to their company. I sent them a link to it. Well, I heard back from them and their response is at the bottom of that page. Read it and laugh and laugh and laugh. I did.

Jan. 14, 2010   Even with their favorite puppet in office and Andy Stern visiting him weekly, the SEIU still can't control everyone in their union. Instead of endorsing Coakley, they're endorsing her opponent, Brown! Courage. I like that.

Jan. 14, 2010   The Black Panthers participated in voter intimidation Election Day, 2008 and still, nothing but stonewalling has been done about it. Don't ya' love equal treatment under the law?

Jan. 14, 2010   I support Lt. Col. Allen West for Congress. No reservations. Watch the full video. It's worth it.

Jan. 14, 2010   If you haven't realized it yet, I don't like the film "Avatar" and there are plenty of good reasons not to. (If you've visited this site more than once and read anything close to half the postings on the main page for the last month, and still haven't realized that I don't like the film "Avatar", what's up with that?) The 90,000th good reason not to like the movie "Avatar". Okay, not the 90,000th: it's the 79,000th.

Jan. 13, 2010   obamination has no allegiance to anyone except himself. Well, maybe the unions have a hold on him. After all, the SEIU's Andy Stern, is one of the most frequent visitors to the Red House so I suppose obamination appreciates the visits.

Jan. 13, 2010   Dr. Thomas Sowell has some comments on the obaminatin's cabinet and their conduct. There's a video and if you love good stuff, watch Dr. Thomas Sowell. I love that man. He and Dr. Walter E. Williams talking as Dr. Williams stood in for Rush one day? Heaven. They're so smart. It's just heaven. Watch the video and near the end, the last question's answer is priceless!

Jan. 13, 2010   If done well, the fillibuster is not just constitutional and good for America, it's also fun!

Jan. 13, 2010   It's not bacon, it's the "Pork Report" and they keep an eye on how your money is being wasted -- I mean spent -- by the federal government. Think funneling money to organizations that will help keep obamination and his ilk in office and you've got it about right.

Jan. 13, 2010   Amy Tidd has announced that she's running for FL House District 30 again. Ready to be defeated again, so soon? Amazing. Think she'd be trying to get her message out and trying to get her candidacy supported, right? After all, it is a political campaign and you want to let the people know what you stand for, what you believe in. Well, most people who want to take your money to "represent" you would do it that way. Not Tidd. She's different. Tidd has her website passworded and if you don't have the secret code, you get this message: "You are not authorized to view this page". So she wants to represent you, but she doesn't want you to know where she stands on the issues and she doesn't want you to be able to reach her? Is that the way the game is played in Democratic circles now? Remember back on Nov. 8, 2009, I told you about Tidd going to a Democrat run online course that would teach her how to be a good candidate? I guess hiding behind a wall of secrecy is how to do that. Tidd's Democracy for America night school teaches their candidates, "strategies you can use to take back your city, your state, your country." Don't you love their terminology: "take back"? Take back from what/whom? "Take back" as though it were ever taken away from? Is that what Tidd believes? She has her website passworded and she expects/desires your support in order to "take back" her city, state and country from whom? Does her candidacy make any sense to anyone so far? Anyone hear "X Files" music playing?

Jan. 13, 2010   Maybe this is what is needed to get into Tidd's website. Can the scientists figure it out?

Jan. 13, 2010   Martha Coakley should not be elected as Senator from Massachusetts simply based on her backers and tactics. The SEIU thugs have way too much influence with the administration already. But they can't count on every union member's vote. One has courage!

Jan. 13, 2010   After a House Ethics Committee inquiry, they have found no wrong doing and punished no one. Tell me that Dems. investigating Dems. will lead to anything but that. Get real. Wait. Were you surprised?

Jan. 13, 2010   Yet another good reason not to go see the movie "Avatar".

Jan. 13, 2010   I have never had any confidence or, really, any respect for the Tea Party movement. From what I have seen, I have yet to be impressed with it. A bunch of rallies to say, "We all agree! Hurrah!" is not exactly a threat to the administration or the thugs in the SEIU. That's my impression of the Tea Party. A bunch of people all getting together and feeling good for a few hours because a bunch of people agree. Does that make any sense to anyone? Now they are having some difficulties and I'm not surprised. I have heard of some of the behind-the-scenes things that have gone on within the organization and I'm not impressed. But, if someone wants to go stand around and say, "We all agree! Hurrah!" for a few hours, that's their thing and fine. Imagine the Boston Tea Party doing things that way and we'd still be under a king's rule. I would prefer to get together with a bunch of people and say, "We all agree. There has to be a change in leadership and we have to do it this way and this is how we are going to finance it and this is how we are going to publicize it and this is what the next step is after we win that race." That's what a Tea Party, IMHO, should be.

Jan. 12, 2010   Ever have a really bad auto dealer experience? Especially with their "repair" shop? I have. I think some of you may have had a similar experience. I am so blessed to have a husband who knows how to fix things around the house and on a car.

Jan. 12, 2010   The American press and public are finally catching up to me in my evaluation of obamination as a president. I said he was a failure after his first sixty days in office and now everyone else is agreeing with me. Why am I always so far ahead of the curve? (wink, wink) obaminatin's ego is trying to argue the fact, though. He's all that in his own mind. Must be sad to be the only person on earth who thinks so. He is his own biggest fan.

Jan. 12, 2010   I don't mean to be an alarmist, but I sincerely do NOT trust this move. It just seems dangerous.

Jan. 12, 2010   Pop Quiz: Which comes first: Bargaining rights or a quality education for your children? The answer is given to us by the Florida state teacher's union and backed by the Brevard Federation of Teachers. That's why there have been Brevard County children finishing third grade who can't even read "cat". I know that is a true statement because that was the case with an ex-neighbor of mine. I taught him how to read in less than two months, meeting with him twice a week for an hour each time. So in less than sixteen hours, I taught him how to read when three years' worth of Brevard County public schools had already failed to do so. Yeah. There's a reason I homeschooled my sons.

Jan. 12, 2010   I just love Ann Coulter. I think she's smart, very funny and a blonde bombshell with more brains than every Dem. on earth combined. My question is, why is Al Sharpton touching her? The way he's doing that is very condescending. It's like he's patting the hand of a little, confused, misled girl. She has an IQ probably twice his and he's patronizing her? Get real.

Jan. 12, 2010   But here's someone who has an IQ as high as Ann's; if not higher. Dr. Thomas Sowell's article, "Notional Security". I just love this guy. He's a brainiac!

Jan. 12, 2010   Coakley in MA is facing a fundraising phenomenon. Excellent!

Jan. 12, 2010   Hurray! RinoCrist is losing in his own county. I like that! That's eleven straw polls out of eleven he has lost.

Jan. 12, 2010   Watched part of Bill Posey's public appearance today. He did a very good job of answering questions and was a very good speaker. He even has a sense of humor. I don't know if it was actually someone's question and he made light of it, but he was taking questions on cards from the audience and one of them may have said something along the lines of "which rock or stone did he crawl out from under?" IF that was a real question, I think the person who wrote it was showing him/her-self to be as ignorant as they felt when Posey made a joke out of it and said, "Love Mom". If it weren't, Posey's sense of humor being aimed at himself makes him very human and kinda' fun. Contact Bill Posey and ask a question or two. He invited us to do so, and he's going to answer your questions. But, don't ask the same question as the other person may have; it's been used already.

Jan. 12, 2010   Here's, "a story every American needs to know". It's about health care and you'll want to read it. If you're an MD, join this group.

Jan. 12, 2010   Barney Frank and Charles "Chuckie" Schumer are trying to get allow illegal aliens to vote; even multiple times. So what's new? Dems. want to break the law and ignore the Constitution. I don't know how stupid they are because the scale doesn't go down that low. Their stupidity no longer registers on the stupid scale. No surprise there, though. They're in it for themselves, not for you.

Jan. 12, 2010   FCC Head, Genachowski, is being slammed for, "mismanagement and an apparent inability to get things done on time." Shock. Surprise. One of obamination's appointees can't do their job correctly. Ooooohhh. Big surprise there.

Jan. 12, 2010   Another good reason to NOT see James Cameron's "Avatar". Has anyone played the movie in slow-motion to check for subliminal suggestions? Just asking.

Jan. 12, 2010   The health care reform bill is a PITA (Pain In The A..hem). The number of people supporting this monstrosity is dropping and it is legalized discrimination. You haven't heard of the legalized discrimination? The Amish and other sects get out of it based on their religion. That's a crock. They already get out of serving in the military in the case of a draft, so they already receive special treatment. We don't really use that much since we haven't had a draft since the Vietnam War. A lot of military heroes came out of the Vietnam War and I thank all who served honorably there. But to discriminate against my sons because our religious affiliation is Baptist is wrong. To discriminate against my cousin because she's a Catholic is wrong. To discriminate against my atheist neighbor is wrong, too. Why should some pay when others are let off? It's not a war situation: it's health care. That's the Congress and Senate deciding to discriminate against me because I'm not of a certain religious affiliation and forcing me to purchase something I do not want to purchase. That's unconstitutional all the way around. But that is one of the many, many ways this health care debacle is unconstitutional. Where in the US Constitution does it state that "Congress may force the American people to purchase with their own money X"? It does not. Thus, the health care reform bill, no matter what else is in it or not in it as long as it says that I have to buy it, or that I go to jail because I refuse to buy it, or pay a fine, or get taxed for it anyways, is totally unconstitutional. But since when does something as small and inconsequential as the U.S. Constitution matter to the Dems.?

Jan. 11, 2010   Congress has gone green. Oh. Sorry. That's your money, but they've also gone green as in trying to "Save the Earth". Believe that? Boy, are you stupid! For the Copenhagen Summit recently, 21 members of the House and Senate went to Copenhagen on your dime and they took,

"three military jets: two 737's and a Gulfstream Five. Up to 64 passengers -- travelling in luxurious comfort."
Don't forget the,
"101 Congress-related attendees"
Yeah. They went green. Green as in covered with your money to have their trip to go "Save the Planet". They probably didn't even attend the meetings; they probably went shopping and enjoyed luxury hotels at your expense. Don't you just love the way Congress cuts back on their expenses in these hard times just like you are having to do?

Jan. 11, 2010   Do you travel? Do you want to go to the airport and go through a body scanner that will show everyone what you look like naked? I refuse. If I had a great body (and I don't), I wouldn't do that. I'm sure even supermodels are unhappy about the possibilities. Although, according to some, those possibilities to help keep you safe won't work as they are saying it will. After all, tell me when was the last time you had a full body x-ray without receiving some radiation? And tell me who from the TSA is going to stand there and know when the thing is malfunctioning and exposing you to more than the machines are supposed to use? Are all TSA employees going to be fully trained in calibrating and measuring the safety and effectiveness of these things? Is there going to be a "scan-canic" (scanner mechanic) at every airport on call 24/7/365? Is there going to be an inspection annually for these things to make sure they are operating as they should? Who is going to be doing all of this? The government? They run the post office and the Medicare/Medicaid and Fannie/Freddie "services". Do you really want them figuring out that you had too much radiation? Remember, they tested nuclear fallout on our servicemen. Is that what you want?

Jan. 11, 2010   I hate that obamination surrounds himself with communists and terrorist sympathizers. Code Pink is one of those organizations and they love terrorists! "You can tell the character of a man by the quality of his friends", is the old saying. I think obamination hates America and wishes it were under Sharia law. I totally disagree with everything he stands for.

Jan. 11, 2010   Senatorial candidate, Martha Coakley, is in trouble in MA. But, not to worry. She has drug companies coming to her aid. I thought Dems. hated drug companies. Remember how they were vilified in the past by Dems.? Check out the second paragraph in this story. Ahh... Those were the "good old days" for Dems. Now they take money from wherever they can get it. Of course, they always have.

Jan. 11, 2010   Some say the health care bill is "hanging by a thread." From their ink to God's ears.

Jan. 10, 2010   Amy Tidd has announced -- again -- that she is ready to lose another run for Florida House District 30 . On her Facebook page she states (again),

"Amy Tidd's campaign is about leadership for a NEW direction for Florida. [Tidd's caps]"
"New"? What is so "new" about Tidd running for public office? How many times has she run and lost and how many times has she promised "new" directions? All Tidd ever does is go round and round and round in circles as she runs from legitimate questions. Check out the history of Tidd's involvement in the PSJ incorporation battle of 2002. Yeah. I'm going to bring that up again. When someone screws up that badly and shows that blatantly how little they know, it's a good thing to be reminded as they show how willing they are to be resoundingly defeated once again. When does someone learn that it is enough? When does someone learn that people don't want them? How many times does it take to get the message? When does it dawn on someone that it's time to give it up? "Here's your sign!" Get over it! Move on. Get the message. Wake up and smell the coffee. Do something besides put your sorry tail out there for another shot at being elected! Good grief. Another obama-ite who won't take "No!" for an answer.

Jan. 10, 2010   In order to "form a more perfect union", I have a new feature here at Space Coast Conservative. That feature? The Brevard County Wall of Shame. It is a place to post the names, situations and details of every Brevard County employee who is PROVEN to have lied to a Brevard County resident trying to get info from the County. If someone can PROVE that they have been lied to (and I will verify before publication) by anyone from an Animal Control officer to a County Commissioner, I will accept your submissions here, sort through them, and see what I can find out myself and if verified, publish the employee's name, the situation and the date. Remember: YOUR name will also be published. So if you want to slam someone but hide behind me to do so, that isn't going to happen. It has to be something you are willing to put your name to and it has to be something that can be verified. So, let's see who goes on there first.

Jan. 10, 2010   They caught the T-ville Wal-Mart molester. Hurray! Considering that he, "is a registered sex offender from Leichester, N.C.", and he did the same thing to an eleven-year-old in a Fort Pierce Wal-Mart, I think that they should throw the creep in jail and throw away the key. This would be at the very least his third offense. Jail and some saltpeter would be the right thing for him. He could be a girlfriend, but never have one. Too bad he'd be able to find out what it's like to have people doing things to your body that you don't want done. Yeah. Harsh. But he's molesting little girls, which is worse? Don't like it? Too bad.

Jan. 10, 2010   So-called, "Net Neutrality" is being challenged in court already. That's a good thing. Defeat obamination again and again and again!

Jan. 10, 2010   If Iceland can do it, so can we. I recommend we follow their lead.

Jan. 10, 2010   Dems: be afraid. Be very afraid.

Jan. 10, 2010   As usual, if obamination's mouth is moving, he's lying. More proof of my assertion here. Green jobs costing $135,294 per job. He lied about that, too.

Jan. 10, 2010   Harry Reid and obamination are not each other's favorite cup of tea. Well, let's just say that Reid's comments would lead one to believe so.

Jan. 10, 2010   Another Oliver Stone twisted history is coming at you. Does he ever get tired of it?

Jan. 10, 2010   One word: GOOD!

Jan. 10, 2010   In my opinion, it is time the Republicans did a "reboot" and took out all of the leadership positions, local to national (intergalactical, if there were such a thing), and go with all true conservatives in their leadership roles. That's how to get rid of those who stick their fingers in the air and find out which way the wind is blowing and go with whichever decision will make them the "most popular" at the moment. Put people with real spines into every leadership position within the Republican party: nationwide, statewide and locally, then -- and only then -- I'll come back to the Republican Party. I do not vote for middle-of-the-roaders. Or at least I try not to. Some may fool me or I may be unable to know their political stands (School Board is nonpartisan, as are judges, etc.), but when I get the chance to know, I refuse to vote for RINOs. Kick Steele out. Put Mark Levin in!

Jan. 10, 2010   Someone's trying to make obamination look like a "climate" savior. Read the fifth paragraph and gag. Kissy-kissy. Read obamination's five page document in full here. Basically, it says that Americans will be taxed to pay for everything, everywhere, all the time. Wonderful president we have here. Don't ya' just love paying for everyone's everything out of your pocket?

Jan. 10, 2010   I wonder if they've changed their tune since the truth about "global warming" being a lie came out. Just curious.

Jan. 8, 2010   I promised a new Cullen page and Cullen Three: What We Wound Up With is that new page. I think you'll get some eye opening informatoiin from this page and I hope that you will now understand (if it's taken you this long to understand, what is your major malfunction?) why I have opposed Cullen for so long. Enjoy!

Jan. 8, 2010   Dr. Jill Biden, wife of the now invisible, Joe Biden (used to be the Vice President until he disappeared), has been really busy. At least, that's her excuse for not knowing anything about the DC school voucher issue. Let me see, she works in DC, has been, "academic circles for close to three decades. She has been an educator for over 29 years. She currently teaches at Northern Virginia Community college, and she has made education one of her focal points in this administration." but she doesn't know about the DC school voucher issue? She fits right in with this administration, doesn't she?

Jan. 8, 2010   "Climategate" -- A.K.A. LIAR, LIAR -- may make scientists and researchers start doing things a bit differently. Peer to peer review, etc., may have to change its rules. Well, I'll believe that when I see it and when it has been proven (yes, now they have to prove it to me) that they are not trying to pull a fast one. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Of course, I never ever believed in "Climate Change" (A.K.A. "global warming"), but if they are going to try to convince me in the future that they are telling the truth with anything now, they're going to have to work four times harder than if they had never lied in the first place. I don't trust liars. Lie to me once and it's all but over for me trusting you again. Ask Lisa Cullen. (Note: Sorry. Forgot to include the link in this one.)

Jan. 8, 2010   Kristin Taylor and Andrea Shea-King have written a great series of articles on "Code Pink" (A.K.A. liberal NAGS complaining and supporting terrorists). The latest tells how Code Pink girl, Jodie Evans, goes to visit obamination right after she returns from supporting HAMAS. Isn't that special? obamination always surrounds himself with the special people, doesn't he? Those who love America and want to protect us from terrorists? Oh! Sorry. That was the previous President! obamination hates America and supports terrorists. Sorry.

Jan. 8, 2010   In one of the classiest (yes, that is sarcasm) moves ever, obamination decided to try Gitmo terrorists in NYC. It's not just the emotional irrationality of obamination's decision to do this, it's the financial irrationality of the decision, too. obamination just keeps proving over and over and over again how much of a moron he really is, doesn't he?

Jan. 8, 2010   Abortion -- murdering babies while they are still inside their mommies' bellies -- is still a supposed "hurdle" for the health care reform bill. I'll believe that when pigs fly and naturally colored pink crocodiles parade down the runway as the space shuttle lands. That is not "hurdle": it's a foredrawn conclusion that it will be in there. Mark my words.

Jan. 8, 2010   Let me make a statement very few people can misunderstand (I say very few because there are still some -- or at least one -- who will): I do not support public television (PBS) at all. I do not think that taxpayer dollars should be spent to support television. Add to that the truth that they waste, abuse and take advantage of the money they get from us and you have a really bad combination. I think it's all bad and public television should be immediately de-funded (that means to "take the money away from them and no longer give them money").

Jan. 8, 2010   Michelle Malkin's article on Hillary Clinton's laxness in the pantibomber case is well worth reading and remembering. Hillary Clinton screwed up royally and should be dismissed as Secretary of State. Imagine Condoleeza Rice's State Department doing the same thing. Rice's head would have been demanded on a silver platter by now. Why the double standard? Why is Clinton getting the free pass? But Clinton's one of those "special people".

Jan. 8, 2010   "Mind reading" machines could be added to airport security. They say that it detects the signs of a possible terrorist suspect by reading body language signs. IMHO: Won't work. The pictures and videos I watched of most of the 9/11 terrorists did not show any "fidgeting and glancing around". It would not have caught them nor prevented 9/11 because they had already accepted they were going to die and they would take as many innocent people with them as possible.

Jan. 8, 2010   Lots of money is going into the Dem. candidate for Massachusetts Senate race. Lots of money from the SEIU is going into Coakley's account as fast as they can get it in there. I hope it does no good whatsoever. After all, people are mad at Dems. Maybe it would be a good thing to have SEIU money in there. If they're spending it on a losing candidate, they aren't spending it on other things you and I don't want.

Jan. 7, 2010   I felt a little creative tonight and wrote a poem: "Oad to obamination" about how I think America is feeling about his plans, the way he is doing things and all of that. It's a little long, but it's worth the reading. Who knows? You may even get a kick out of it. BTW, some of you won't like it. But that's okay. If you like and support obamination, why should I care what you like and don't like?

Jan. 7, 2010   I am so glad Hillary Clinton didn't get elected president, although what we got is probably as bad if not worse. But as Secretary of State, Clinton has her own stuff to mess up; stuff that effects all of us. Did you know that the Christmas pantibomber was someone who could have been prevented from boarding any plane worldwide? Yep.

"...the State Department had 35 days to revoke Adbulmutallab’s visa and share the information with the UN – it failed to do either."
According to this story, Clinton's inaction put those people in a life threatening situation. Aren't we all glad she is in the administration? And aren't we all glad she's not president? Another moron in a cabinet full of morons. Oh, well, when you ACORN someone into office, you get what you pay for.

Jan. 7, 2010   I found a website, Power Line that has some recordings that are rather disturbing. They are William "Bill" Ayers recordings from the seventies and from as little as two years ago. There are also Bernadette Dohrn recordings there that are equally disturbing, including her saying in 2007 that living in America was like living "in the belly of the beast". The "beast" being a "monster" that is, "the greatest purveyor of violence". Isn't it nice to note that obamination has friends who love America so?

Jan. 6, 2010   Well, the busiest month on my calendar is over. My son's birthday, the Space Coast Post Card Club's meeting, my mother's visit, Christmas, New Year's Day and my wedding anniversary all happened in Dec./early Jan. (Whew!) I can now refocus on the issues of the day. Later today (it is now almost one in the morning), I will update my site with some new issues. I will soon also revisit two old issues. I have put together a new Cullen page that is being reviewed by a few people who know; and the Rupe 4,200 pages issue has raised its ugly head again because Rupe did not amend her Dec. statements in her "Happenings" article. She stated in that article that she received nothing but a few hundred pages, when in reality, she received over 4,200 and that's the documented truth. Did she choose to update that issue in the Jan. issue? No. She chose to let the lie stand. And it is a lie that she printed in the Dec. issue because she had already been told how many pages were waiting for her, and she had just picked them up when the "Happenings" deadline hit. She picked the 4,200 pages up on either Nov. 12th, or 17th, and the "Happenings" deadline is the 18th (I know: I used to work for "Happenings"). Rupe chose to not clarify, not correct, nor add to the lie she told in the Happenings article, so I decided to write a whole page covering it in depth and with as much proof as I can offer: e-mails, etc. I think it needs to be done because Rupe's article tried to make Comm. Infantini look as bad as possible. That's unconscionable to me, so I must set the record straight since Rupe apparently refuses to.

Jan. 6, 2010   Speaking of that local pooper paper, I think it's quite funny that Randy refuses to print anything I have sent in for quite a few years now (since the 2002 PSJ Incorporation debacle he supported and I opposed). However, what Randy did not realize is that one of his writers, on page 24 of the current issue (Jan. 2010: Issue 236), quotes an e-mail that was sent to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners. That e-mail just happened to be mine. I had to laugh out loud when I saw that. I wasn't given any credit for the e-mail, but it is public record that I wrote that e-mail. I was published in the pooper paper without Randy even knowing it! Last laugh: Me!

Jan. 6, 2010   I want to say a big "Welcome Back!" to Rush Limbaugh after his vacation and medical experience. I must say that I am very glad he's okay and that he can return to us and keep us informed and amused with his mocking of the idiots in life. It's good; all good.

Jan. 6, 2010   Christopher Dodd is stepping down from his Senate seat. Well, retiring. Or, at the very least, looking for a bigger paycheck. Shock. Surprise. Someone who will sandwich a waitress wants more money. At least this time it won't necessarily be your money. Maybe.

Jan. 6, 2010   Know about what you're going to pay in taxes this year? Well, you think so? Or did you know that Congress -- the Dem. (Dumb) controlled Congress -- has already messed with your tax rates on this year's taxes. The basics you need to know: "changes the income threshold and taxes even poorer Americans". Don't you just love Democrats? I don't.

Jan. 6, 2010   Want to keep America safe? The administration doesn't.

Jan. 6, 2010   There's a weird story about a sweatshirt on Big Hollywood in which the story is a little convoluted, but read the story. It's not that long and it's something to think about.

Jan. 6, 2010   The Nazis and Socialists at NPR are using your money to slander you and they should pay the price. Tell Congress to stop funding them. I can't make it happen by myself. Oh, you need to read the story and watch the little video that proves it in order to get this posting.

Jan. 6, 2010   Despite the eye candy from the ads of "Avatar", I'm not going to see it. The movie is just what I expected from a Cameron flick: Hate America First. Read this review and see what I mean. As usual, right again.

Jan. 6, 2010   I don't know about you, but I hate the idea of a full body scan that can see through your clothes. I am a very modest person without a great body (yes, I'll say it before you do), but it's modesty that keeps me clothed and covered, not my bad body. I've seen some women wear things that they shouldn't and some didn't have a body that would even come close to making it attractive to have that much skin showing. (I don't know what they were thinking.) What do you think of the full body scan that will show everyone everything? Ann Coulter doesn't think it will keep us safe nor do I.

Jan. 6, 2010   Want to find out if your vehicle has had a recall? Check it out here. You have to tell them the year of your vehicle, the manufacturer, the model, then if you want to have all of the info, or just some and it will give you a readout if any recalls exist. This is the government's website so it should be accurate and up to date. Should be.

Jan. 6, 2010   The other day I was wondering where Joe Biden was. You remember Joe Biden, don't you? He is the Vice President. Yeah! That Joe Biden. Anway, I was wondering where Biden was since I hadn't seen him in so very long. (Not since his last gaff.) Today, I found out where Biden is. He's being looked down upon by obamination.

Jan. 6, 2010   ACORN has no shame. Nor does its leader.

Jan. 6, 2010   The first year of the obamination administration was a decimation of your rights, a trip through violation after violation of law and tradition, and a year of failures unlike any other in the history of the United States. If you don't believe me, read Gene Healy's "Obama Flunks His First Year" article. You'll see what I'm talking about. It's not just my opinion.

Jan. 6, 2010   Want to see something pitiful? Read the begging for the Flor-idiot Congressjoke, Grayson. Grab your begging cap, put on your most worn out duds and dirty up your face, folks. Dems are begging! We must work to get rid of the Clown of Crongress. He has several opponents, one of which (and the one I am leaning toward supporting) is Dr. Ken Miller. I have met Dr. Miller briefly, and I hope he's a tough opponent.

Jan. 6, 2010   Is there nothing Keith Olberman won't say to outrage and get attention? I suppose for him even negative attention is better than no attention and he has to get people to look at him and listen to him somehow. After all, checking out his ratings, he doesn't have much to consider when it comes to people watching and listening. So he sinks to new low after new low. If he's outrageous enough, maybe he'll get someone to realize he's lame.

Jan. 6, 2010   obamination's administration is funneling money to someone: an organization, a company, a friend, a person or group, I don't know who, but when they funnel stimulus money to phantom congressional districts, and to phantom zip codes, you know it's not by mistake and that they know exactly where it's going and who is receiving it. My questions: Who? For what? How much (total)? And, why? Why are they secretly funneling money to someone and why are they lying so much? Also, remember their promised "transparency"? As I said, if obamination's mouth is moving he's lying.

Jan. 6, 2010   "Negro." It's on the census for 2010 and making some folks mad. I don't know why it's making folks mad. They don't have my proper color on the choices: "A person who is peach-toned with rosey highlights that used to be known as a 'white' person." If they don't even have my choice, why get angry at having three choices?
